Echinophora tenuifolia L. ssp. sibthorpiana (Guss.) Tutin

Flora Europaea the Linnean original specimen (typical species) biennal to perennial, T-H mesoxeric segetal eastern Mediterranean-Pontic (subspecies), typical species in southern Italy and Sicily Stellarietea mediae from eastern Dobrudja R87 from Dobrudja, on Kastanozems       This is one of the most rare segetal species in Romania and probably one of the oldest weeds from the flora of the eastern Mediterranean.
